When SPILL FREE LIQUID HANDLING IS REQUIRED, the TODO-MATIC
Dry Quick Disconnect Coupling should be considered.
Both the coupler and plug contain a
piston valve which opens when the units are mated and closes when the units are
disconnected, this ensures containment of the media. The coupling and adapter are mated with a 100 degree twist,
locking both components in place and allowing the opening of the piston valves.
Construction: available in aluminum, brass/gunmetal
and stainless steel. Standard seal is
viton, but EPDM, fluorsilicon, perfluorelastomer and many other materials are
available.
Applications: Petroleum industry, transportation,
marine operations, tank farms, and many in-plant applications. Chemical and pharmaceutical applications are
excellent areas for use as well.
Size Range: ¾” to 6” with
NPT, BSP and NPSF threads, tank units/adapters are also available in flanged
units.
